The theme of this work is my personal childhood experience. Based on this memory, I reconstructed a scene, and all the elements came from my re-examination of that childhood life. Due to the long-term swimming practice in childhood and the contradictory relationship with my father, a large number of situational fragments originated from the swimming pool scene which I am most familiar with, as well as the negative emotions brought by my father's excessive expectations and negations. And the accumulation of these emotions led me into a deep self-doubt. These fragmented elements were re-integrated by me and abstracted into some symbols or sculptures. With the locker of the swimming pool as the main body, I rebuilt a story full of contradictions, metaphors, negations, and resistances, so as to express my dissatisfaction with the negation from my father.
